(, Framerate issues game looks slow motion. Use the config to improve the frame rate, but there are still slowdowns in the heavy traffic. Work fine when using config file for correct region ,and v1.01 version of game (check in system.cnf). Require config file to past intro loading screen. The draw distance is heavy lowered - there are visible textures pop in. Weapons have weird pixelated texture and the skybox is messy. On NTSC-U the game has better frame rate. Some games will trigger a data loss warning on startup then show a black screen, but the game is still on and reacts to input, rendering most of them unplayable. Make sure that game is detected as PS2CD (Blue disc in XMB). Set Vsynch delay to NO-IPU Agressive to solve slowdown while in fights. The Game has some small issues like small flickering, frame drops or glitching graphics. The game is playable, but It's like the same case with Nicktoons Unite! CUSTOM configs additionally fix major graphical issues on ground, but minor issues exist before some missions.
PAL 50HZ retains same slowdown as US version, yet running 60HZ on PAL almost fixes it completely, yet some characters, weapons, and stages present noticeable lag but it usually isn't too bad. Frozen screen when you enter boxes in race. Use config to disable mipmapping/fix textures. 40-60 fps in "bumper" cam, view from the inside of the car is about 30-50 fps, from 10 to maybe 50 fps from the camera which renders the car. Use the config to fix the slow motion bug and the VMC bug. Use config to fix flickering black screen. US has slightly glitchy draw distance, but doesn't impact gameplay.
